In Battle Girl High School, the characters battle with a combination of numerous weapons, costumes, and skills while players communicate with other players as well as the characters. Our members communicate very closely within the team in order to make sure that all the creative assets collectively achieve a consistent feel in the game, whether it's 3D, 2D, Live2D, weapon designs, or visual effects.
For this game, Live2D characters are created in such a way that their movements and parts appear natural even at a close-up scale. This level of attention to details poses a challenge, yet it’s crucial for achieving intimate interactions with rich expressions and motions.
As the project started, we took notice of Live2D and decided to use it as a way for making the characters look as attractive as possible. The technology enabled the stroking feature, with which a player gets to interact with the characters when stroking them. Such interactive communication creates a bond between the player (teacher) and the characters.
We are very keen on interacting with the characters inside an immersive game world, so we are really looking forward to Live2D Euclid!!
